Hi there! I’m Deanna :)
I’ve always had a deep love for art in all its forms—whether it’s drawing, painting, or, of course, photography. I’m a right-brained creative through and through, and my work reflects that vibrant, artistic energy.
My journey into photography began back in 2009 when a friend saw my potential and connected me with a seasoned photographer who became my mentor. He took me under his wing, teaching me the ins and outs of the trade. I had the privilege of working alongside him on various projects for over 10 years, including senior portrait sessions and backdrop work for Denny Manufacturing Co. These experiences laid the foundation for my photography career and continue to inspire my work today.
Along with a diploma in photography and a certificate in smartphone photography, I also hold a degree in nursing—two fields that may seem different but share a common thread: my love for meeting and connecting with new people. Whether I’m capturing a moment through a lens or providing care to my patients, I always approach each interaction with empathy and a keen eye for detail.
I’m a firm believer in the beauty of genuine, candid moments. I love photographing real emotions, unposed, and in the flow of life.
